What started at local markets has grown into a brand people come back to, because the soap works, feels great, and smells even better.

The Bro Brick started with a simple idea: take something everyday — like soap — and make it better, bolder, and actually worth using.
Founder MacKenzie Proudlove originally launched a line of men’s candles as a creative outlet for his background in graphic design and branding. While the concept gained some traction, it led to a bigger realization — most personal care products, especially soap, felt generic, uninspired, and largely ignored the male market.
So he built something different.
The Bro Brick was created to bring personality, humor, and performance into the shower. Each bar is handmade in small batches and designed to stand out — with bigger, longer-lasting bricks and scents that actually stick around.
From rugged profiles like Rum & Cola and Cabin in the Woods to fun, unexpected options like Sangria and Cherry Cola, The Bro Brick turns routine into something you actually look forward to.
Rooted in the local community, The Bro Brick collaborates with other Alberta businesses to create unique products. Beer-based bricks are crafted using brews from RavenWolf Brewing Company, and recent collaborations with the Edmonton Riverhawks have produced custom scents like Bubblegum and Fresh Cut Grass.
What started as an idea has grown into a brand that’s been part of people’s daily routines for over a decade — because once you try a better bar of soap, it’s hard to go back.
